-Firstly PT periods are basically to channelize the students’ energy. If you see the records; there is a majority of full attendance on the days of PT. As we only have 8 periods in a day, having 2 periods as PT makes it difficult to concentrate on studies as all the time and energy is eaten up during PT periods. Yes, we can have two different PT periods in two different week days.

Q7. Why are students not allowed to choose a combination of subjects that later to a particular stream? (Koshi ma’am) E.g. - (I) Physics and History (ii) Biology and Accounts

 - Its a matter of finance and time management, various children might have the same choice, excluding one from the group having a different choice. We only have 8 periods in a day and accommodation of various subjects for just one kid at a different schedule is very difficult.

Q8. Mehandi is a traditional thing, its not a tattoo. So why aren’t we allowed to put Mehandi? (Madhu ma’am)

- There are other traditions which the kids don’t follow. Mehandi looks bad once it starts to go off the skin , there might be an issue that villagers do have tattoos on their hands etc. So children will say that is a tradition and everyone should be allowed to have tattoos. There should be some decorum in the school and everything can’t be clubbed under tradition.
